Sample Prayers, Days 110-119
Day 110 Dear LORD, you are our shelter, our refuge in the time of storms. May others see that and want to take shelter in your arms. May we obey your Word and be blessed.
Please be our shelter and provide our other needs. Forgive us when we have not tried to shelter some from the heat of adversity by sharing the gospel.
Please shelter us from evil by dependence on you. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Day112 Our Dear Father in heaven, your arms are strong to support us weaklings. We need to rely on you our most almighty God. May more be added to the kingdom and your will be done as we testify of your saving grace and obey your Word. Give us strength and the sight to see your will and your ways. Forgive us our sins of self-reliance. Help us to forgive others for snide comments. May we not give into the devil's way to deliver ourselves and live for ourselves but for the LORD. May we live for the pleasure of your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Day 113 Our Father in heaven, you are good, kind, and wise. May our reliance on you when we are threatened to act be a testimony to lead others so seek your kingdom. May we seek your will found in your Word, the Bible.
Please provide us the wisdom we need whether to fight or avoid it. Please provided our other needs as we have them.
Father forgive us for seeking retaliation when threatened. Give us wisdom and the grace to forgive. May we forgive others who sin against us.
Dear LORD, we pray not to let Satan fill our heads with lies and act presumptively. May we live to your glory and praise. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Day 114
Dear Father in heaven, for some of us it's been a long time since we've talked. It's hard to imagine that we could be calloused about tending our spiritual garden for you are the giver and sustainer of life. You are wonderful. May our hearts desire to be yours; we want your will to be done and for you to receive the glory and praise. Give us a spirit of gratitude and worship for you our Almighty God, and be our defense against our enemies.
Please provide for all our needs so we may praise you. Please answer our prayers on the behalf of our loved ones and acquaintances according to your will and in a way that will give you glory.
Forgive our sins against others and any negligence and help us to forgive any offenses against us. Lead us away from the temptation to care only for ourselves.
Today, may your name be on our lips in praise to you our God. In Jesus' name. Amen
