Sample Prayers, Days 130-139

Day 130 Dear Father in heaven, you are good and wise. You know what we need when we need it. Glorify yourself.

May the patience we exert show our faith in you and draw others into your kingdom. May we do your will from the heart and trust you to answer our prayers.

For our daily bread, please answer our prayers and help us to be patient for the answers.

Forgive our sins of running in front of you and making our own play because of impatience and lack of faith. Help us to forgive others who may have also lost faith in us.

Lead us away from the temptation to act ahead of your will and may we patiently wait for your power to work. In Jesus' name we pray, Amen

Day 131 Dear Father in heaven, when you're silent you're difficult to understand but we know you're in control. Praise the LORD for your wisdom and power. May our trust in you draw others to your kingdom by watching how we turn to you in our hours of need. May we obey your Word, even if we don't have explanations of your silence.

Please provide our daily needs, including spiritual strength to keep trusting you when we can't perceive your working in our lives

LORD, if you're quiet because we're sinning and rebellious, forgive us. And may we forgive others so you're not displeased because you forgave our debts.

Lead us away from the temptations to give up and walk our own way. In Jesus name and for his glory we pray, Amen

Days 132-133 Dear Father, you are holy and righteous and perfect in your judgment. You are good, even if at the time it doesn't look that way. You know what is best. You know when it's best for us to receive gifts and when it's best to take them away. Praise to your holy name.

May the way we respond to your judgments draw people into your kingdom. Help us submit to your will.

For our daily bread, please provide our daily needs. Also, give us the courage we need to face our enemies and trust you to deliver us.

Forgive us for any lack of trust in you and help us to forgive others for the attacks on us, if it is so.

Lead us away from despair or becoming hopeless. The devil likes to discourage and destroy us. May we live trusting you for our deliverance. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Day 134 Dear heavenly father, you are so gracious to forgive our sins and give us a second chance. We know it might not come without consequences, but thank you for your grace.

We pray our testimony of your grace will lead others into your kingdom, and our gratefulness will cause us to obey your will.

Please meet our needs today, Lord, especially to be forgiving when we need to be forgiving and diplomatic where needed.

Forgive our sins and help us to forgive others who sin against us

Lead us in the way of wisdom instead of selfish pursuits or revenge. In the name of your Son Jesus, we pray, Amen.

Days 135,136 Dear father in heaven, you desire unity in our lives and in our churches, or other organizations. Thank you that you are the God of peace as well as justice and righteousness. Praise you for your holiness.

I pray others would see the desire we have for righteous peace and be drawn to your kingdom and doing your will.

Please provide our needs and the desire to unite, not divide.

Forgive us for the times we've been divisive or self-willed. Help us to forgive others, too for their actions.

May we be wary of Satan's deception to seek glory for ourselves. Instead, may we serve you and others in humility, and give you glory and praise. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen

Day 137

Dear LORD, you are our great God and leader. Thank you for David, a man after your heart who teaches us how to bring unity by good leadership.

May the way we lead draw others to be a part of your kingdom. May we lead according to your Word so we can have success following you, Lord.

For our daily bread, we pray you meet our physical, emotional , and spiritual needs, and also wisdom for leadership.

Lord, forgive us for poor leadership because we didn't follow your Word. May we also forgive others whose wrong leadership was detrimental to our lives and organizations. In forgiving them, help us to let go of any past hurts and failures, so the devil doesn't get a foothold.

May our leadership work to the praise of your glory. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen

Day 138

Dear Father in heaven, you are holy and merciful to us. Praise your name. May your kingdom be advanced and your will be done. May people be drawn to you as they see we are ending well, being faithful to you, and encouraging others to follow you and your ways.

Dear Lord, for our daily bread, please provide our needs and make us conscious of things we should do to give you praise and end well.

Please forgive our sins of negligence to be more careful of our spiritual lives, not offending God and hurting people. Help us to forgive others of the same things.

Help us to be wary of Satan's vices to kill and destroy, and help us to live a godly life for your name's sake. In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen.

Day 139

Father in heaven, you are holy and righteous. Thank you for David and Solomon's example on how to start off right and the 4 challenges of new leadership.

May the way we respond to leadership challenges draw people to you to be a part of your kingdom. May the challenges also drive us to the Scriptures for wisdom.

Lord, for our daily bread, give us wisdom, discernment, and courage to do the right things and to lead our families and other organizations.

Lord, forgive us for the sins of relying on ourselves instead of seeking your wisdom. Help us to forgive others who have failed us.

Lead us away from the temptation to act hastily without thinking and so fall into the snare of the devil. Help us to seek your face and wisdom, Lord. In Jesus' name, Amen.
