Sample Prayers, Days 30-39
Day 30 Dear Father in heaven, your name is holy and righteous and you are the one and only God, the Almighty creator of heaven and earth. You control the events in people's lives, and you answer their prayers.
For my daily bread, I pray you will show yourself as the one and only God who can be trusted to provide my physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. May others see it and be drawn to you. We know its not your will that any perish but all come to repentace, so I will tell of your great mercy and your works.
Forgive my sins of silence and help me to listen to and observe your working in their lives, and then help me share your message with others.
Help me to forgive others who might cause me to doubt and rely on myself. Help me to see what glorifies you and do it. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, you are holy and righteous. Praise be to your name. If we are Christians, we are now a part of your family, praise God. Help us to protect that heritage by telling our loved ones about Christ so that they, too, may come into his kingdom. For that is your desire. You don't desire that anyone should perish, and you don't want us to discourage children from coming to know you. Please provide for our needs today, Lord, whether they be physical, emotional, or spiritual. Be our bread of life to share with others.
Forgive our sin and our selfishness, especially if we haven't looked after the welfare of our family. Help us make a better plan today, and use the opportunities we have.
Help us to forgive others who might not have looked after our welfare. Praise you, Lord, that we now have a kind heavenly Father and can follow after your ways.
I pray we would lead our family away from the worldly ways of our ungodly culture where they might be snagged by the devil, and lead them toward you our Lord and God. Surely, we will be blessed. In the name of your sweet Son, Jesus, we pray. Amen
Dear Father in Heaven, you are holy, but you are gracious and kind to send us your Son as the perfect sacrifice to take away sin. Praise be to your name. I pray you will draw many into your kingdom, and even some who are reading this prayer now. Lord, they need you.
Please provide our needs today. You know what they are, and teach us to rely on you for our strength.
Forgive us for our sins Lord, for taking the death of Christ lightly, or for not sharing the message of the gospel with others as we have opportunity. Forgive us if we have failed to gather to remember the Lord's death with Communion.
Lord, if there is a spirit of forgiveness within us regarding a family member, friend or acquaintance, forgive us and help us forgive them. Let us be clean before you.
Lead us away from the temptation to be bitter or act with revenge. Heal our hearts Lord. May we ever live to praise of your glory. Thank you for your most precious gift of salvation. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
Dear LORD, you are always there, the almighty God, who cares about all our needs, and though we don't see you, you have shown us you care. You provide our needs and many times our wants, regardless of times when we wonder if you will show up and if you will deliver us or help us. Praise be to God our provider.
May we always trust in you. May we testify of your faithfulness every day so others will be drawn to you. May we express faith not doubt for that dishonors you and is sin. Let us wait on you to deliver us and not try to do it ourselves. Meet our daily needs and give us confidence in you our Lord.
Forgives our lack of faith or for turing to our own ways. Help us to forgive others for their lack of faiith in us, if not for justifiable reasons. Lead us away from doubts and fears to trust in you our Lord and God. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, you are worthy of all trust. It's difficult to trust you when we seem without hope and everything is stacked against us. Yet you are our hope and our life. I pray for faith in you so others will be drawn into your kingdom. Please provide our needs so we can boast about you and encourage others. Forgive our sins of unbelief and anxiety. Please help us forgive others who might be critical or say, where is your God? Lead us away from the temptation to fear and towards faith in you for your honor and glory, Lord, Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, you are to be reverenced and feared because you are God, the almighty, the one and only God, full of glory, justice, holiness, and grace. Thank you for saving us and giving us your 10 commandments. May we live in the fear and awe of God and may we keep your commandments out of love for you so others may be drawn to you, too.
Please also provide our daily bread so we and others will see that you are a faithful God.
Please forgive us for our sins, and help us to forgive others.
Lead us away from the temptation to live for ourselves and our pride and lusts. May we live for your glory and praise. In Jesus name, Amen.
