Sample Prayers, Days 300-309
Gracious Father, you are holy and righteous. You sent Jesus to be our King of Peace. I pray we will tell others of his sacrifice and resurrection for their salvation. May your will be done in bringing Jesus back to rule and reign. Until then, I pray our food, our nourishment would be to stay busy doing what God wants and seeking to please him. Please forgive our sins against you and others. We want to be clean vessels for your use. Please don’t allow us to abandon you when times are hard, seeking only the comforts of this life. In Jesus’ name and for your glory, Amen.
Dear Heavenly Father, you are gracious to invite us to your banquet table. Thank you for choosing us to be your bride. I pray we would invite others to the banquet table, your offering for salvation. That is your desire, your will.
Dear Father, we pray you would bless our lives and meet our needs today, as you have always done. Then we can tell others of your provision.
Forgive our daily sins and cleanse us with your righteousness. Help us forgive others who sin against us. I pray when tempted that we will not seek revenge against those who hurt us. Let us leave vengeance to you. You are wise and know when and how to exercise justice or even remove people from their positions. Instead, I pray we will please you in all we do, so you will be proud of us. May we do all things for your glory and praise, in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, we bow before your throne in worship. Thank you for your kindness in returning before the tribulation period, so we Christians will not have to go through it. We know it will be a terrible time on the earth, Lord, so may we, in fear of the calamities and love for our family, friends, and neighbors, share the good news that Jesus provides spiritual life and peace. Although we may go through extreme trials, you will be there with us. Please provide for our needs and give us courage and love to care about people’s eternal destinies. Forgive any selfishness or failure to do what’s right. Lead us not into the temptation to be comfortable and callous.
I pray we will forgive others and live in righteousness and kindness. Then, others will see this sign that we are Christians and will listen to our message about preparing for storms. May we live for your kingdom and glory today and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, how Great is your name and your sacrificial love for me and for all the world. Thank you, that Jesus came to serve, not to be served, and to sacrifice his life in our place to bring us back into fellowship with you. He sought to do your will, Father.
I know that is the same desire you have for all your children, those you have saved from sin. You want us to serve, sacrifice, and share the good news of Jesus, so we can reach more for your kingdom. Please give us our daily bread of humility, faith, and courage to exercise compassion and to do what’s right. Please also meet our other needs as you promised, so we can focus our minds on eternal things.
Forgive us for any wrongful behavior or failure to do what is right. We confess our particular sins at this moment.
Give us a heart of compassion like you. Help us forgive others as we have been forgiven. Please keep us out of trouble, Lord; you know how prone we are to wander. We want to be a testimony of your grace to the world. We pray these things in Jesus’ name. Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, You are a God of justice, but also a God of love. Thank you, that your Son came to seek and save those like me who were lost. I pray we would please you by telling others of your greatness and how you can save them from their sins.
Thank you for Christ’s example of humility in feet washing. Serving each other in humble ways helps unify our family, group, or other relationships.
I pray you will meet our daily needs as you promised, and we will be content. Please keep us from losing focus—we are here to serve and sacrifice for others, not to serve ourselves.
Forgive us for the times we may have failed to love or have withheld love because of bitterness, betrayal, or they didn’t deserve it. We didn’t deserve your forgiveness either, and some of us may have betrayed you. Thank you for your forgiveness. I pray for a heart of genuine forgiveness, compassion, and love. Please lead us away from the temptation to hold grudges and keep a record of someone else’s sins. Your forgiveness isn’t like that.
May you do all things for your glory, Lord. Amen.
Dear Father, you are the light of the world and the universe. You wrap yourself in light, and in you, there is no darkness or evil at all. Praise your holy name. I pray your kingdom will come as promised, and we will invite others into it by sharing the gospel. Thank you for the sacrifice of your son on the cross. Please light a flame in our hearts! May we give testimonies about you and what you have done in our lives.
Lord, please meet our needs today as you have promised, so we can share how you supply. Forgive us if we haven’t been sharing Christ’s light, and we pray we would do nothing to quench the light of God’s Spirit. Help us be ready to forgive and show grace and mercy. Lead us away from the temptation to be self-focused, snuffing out wicks of hope and good works. Give us courage and compassion to share the light with others, even if others persecute us. In the name of your dear Son, Jesus, we pray, Amen.
Our Father in heaven, you are righteous and very generous. When we imagine inheriting the same blessings as your own Son, we glory in your name!
Lord, please help us bring others into your kingdom, even if we are mocked and persecuted. Isn't there a cause? Help us to remember we are battling the evil one for the souls of our loved ones and even strangers we meet.
Please give us our daily bread of courage. Meet our other needs, too, so we may minister to others, not lacking anything necessary so your name will be praised.
Lord, if anything is holding us back from being effective witnesses, please counsel and convict our spirits. We want the Holy Spirit’s power to do your work. May we be forgiven and forgive others. Lead us not into temptation that we can do the work of God ourselves and that we don’t need anyone else. Help us remember to keep reading, obeying your Word, and praying for your Spirit’s blessing. I pray we would also humbly serve and support each other.
May all praise and honor and glory be to you, our God and Savior. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Dear LORD and Almighty God, great is your forgiveness, even when tried and insulted. Thank you that Jesus bore insults, false accusations, mockery, beatings, and crucifixion so that we might have salvation and victory over the devil. May your name be praised in all the world. If you can do it, I pray we would be willing to suffer injustice in your name to bring others into the kingdom.
Give us the bread of tenacity and perseverance when suffering comes. Meet our other needs to encourage us and testify to others that you answer prayers.
Help us remember to call upon you so the Holy Spirit will comfort and strengthen us. Help us not to hold grudges but to forgive those who hurt us. Lead us away from the temptation to give up when facing difficult times. May our trust always be in you our king. You are the power and the kingdom and the glory forever.
