Sample Prayers, Days 330-339
Day 330 Dear LORD, you are merciful and gracious and just. You are our example for how we should behave. May our humility, godliness, and sacrificial love lead others to be a part of your kingdom, and may we read and do your will as we read it in your word.
Please provide our daily needs, especially the need to sober up. Forgive our sins of pride, boasting and selfishness, and failing to deal with sin. Help us to forgive others who deceive and sin against us.
Help us be wary of the devil and his desire to divide us and involve us in immorality and pride. May we live to the praise of your glory. In Jesus' name, Amen.
Day 331
My prayer response: Dear Father in heaven, your character is always pure and right. Mine is not. And so, I pray for forgiveness for the times I am not acting with consideration of others, especially my spouse. I pray I will do nothing to keep others from coming into your kingdom to be saved but be a testimony of your grace. I’m not perfect or strong, and I know it is your will for me to ask for wisdom, seek counsel from your Word, and pray for the help of your Holy Spirit, who is within each of us in your family.
Along with meeting our daily needs, Lord, I pray you would give me a loving heart and that I would seek your glory instead of fulfilling my desires. Lord, you showed me mercy and grace in forgiving me, so I pray I will act the same way with others. For your glory and praise, I pray these things in Jesus name, Amen
Day 332
Day 333 Dear Father in heaven, you are not only holy but you give hope to poor sinners like us. Praise your name. Thank you for raising Jesus from the dead. May your kingdom come and your will be done on earth as it is in heaven--don't let the devil get a foothold. Please provide for our daily needs and help us live resurrected lives, transformed by your Spirit. Please give us the courage to share the gospel and to live it. Help us Father in Jesus' name. I pray to forgive others who hurt us, and forgive our sins. May all we do be for your glory and praise.
Dear Father, we love you and worship you our Lord and God. Thank you for giving us comarades (friends) to share our suffering and give sympathy and prayer. May this mutual encouragement and love be a testimony to the world so they might be drawn to come into your kingdom.
Please provide for our daily needs and give us encouragement.
Please forgive my failings in being a good friend and encouraging them through sufferings. Help me to forgive others who are also self-focused and unmindful of the support we need.
Lead us away from apathy or not caring for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Help us be willing to sacrifice for others, remembering your great sacrifice for us, for in Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, praise your name and thank you for the kindness you show to us. Thank you for our families, careers, opportunities and for helping us in times of adversity. You are our most gracious God and the keeper of our souls.
May your kingdom come, and may we try to reconcile people to you so it will be ever-growing. We know that is your will. We pray to act with integrity, so your Spirit draws them to you as we share the gospel. You desire genuine character.
Please supply our daily needs and give us courage, Lord. Help us see the opportunities and directions you give. Encourage our hearts.
Forgive our sins, Lord, for they are many. I pray we will also forgive those who have sinned against us. Help us be gracious to not hold things against them.
We pray everything in Jesus’ name and for your glory, Amen.
Dear Father in heaven, great is your love for us. You planned and gave us salvation through your Son. You gave sacrificially for us, and we know it’s your will that we give sacrificially for others. We trust you to provide for our needs because you are our LORD. Forgive us for any stringiness, and help us forgive others which should help but don’t. Please lead us away from the temptation to be snarky. In the name of your Son, Jesus, and for your glory, I pray. Amen
