Exodus 32:7-9
Ex 32:7 Then the LORD said to Moses, "Go down, because your people, whom you brought up out of Egypt, have become corrupt.
8 They have been quick to turn away from what I commanded them and have made themselves an idol cast in the shape of a calf. They have bowed down to it and sacrificed to it and have said, 'These are your gods, O Israel, who brought you up out of Egypt.'
9 "I have seen these people," the LORD said to Moses, "and they are a stiff-necked people. (NIV)
Romans 9:18 Therefore God has mercy on whom he wants to have mercy, and he hardens whom he wants to harden. (NIV)
Luke 11:9-10
Lu 11:9 "So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you.
10 For everyone who asks receives; he who seeks finds; and to him who knocks, the door will be opened. (NIV)
James 4:2 You want something but don't get it. You kill and covet, but you cannot have what you want. You quarrel and fight. You do not have, because you do not ask God. (NIV)
John 14:13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Son may bring glory to the Father. (NIV)
Exodus 33:5-6
33:5 For the LORD had said to Moses, "Tell the Israelites, 'You are a stiff-necked people. If I were to go with you even for a moment, I might destroy you. Now take off your ornaments and I will decide what to do with you.'"
6 So the Israelites stripped off their ornaments at Mount Horeb. (NIV)
Malachi 3:6
Mal 3:6 "I the LORD do not change. So you, O descendants of Jacob, are not destroyed. (NIV)
Numbers 23:19
Nu 23:19 God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill? (NIV)
2 Peter 3:9
2Pe 3:9 The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance. (NIV)
